| | | Dear Friend, At Solidarity, we are always looking for new ways to better serve our Members and provide affordable, straightforward healthcare options for every stage of life. With that commitment in mind, I’m excited to share that Solidarity LEGACY, our new healthcare sharing program for individuals age 65+ enrolled in Medicare Parts A & B, launches September 1. LEGACY is designed to help with eligible Medicare Part B out-of-pocket coinsurance costs while providing a simple approach that works alongside Medicare. Stay tuned for more information next week. We’re also encouraged by what our community continues to accomplish together. In July, our Reference-Based Pricing model and provider negotiations reduced eligible submitted medical costs by 70%. It’s another example of how we work behind the scenes to help keep eligible medical expenses manageable for our Members and our community. In this month’s newsletter, we explore the push for greater healthcare price transparency, why employers are taking a closer look at healthsharing, important Catholic bioethical questions surrounding emerging medical research, and practical health insights for the season ahead. For those considering Solidarity, August offers an opportunity to join at our current membership pricing. New Members who enroll by August 31 can lock in current pricing for their first year before new pricing takes effect September 1. Check prices today. For our current Members, there is no immediate change to your monthly contribution. Any updated pricing will not take effect until your individual membership renewal month. Thank you for being part of the Solidarity community and for making this ministry possible. In Christ, |

| | | | Lessons in Catholic Bioethics: The Dignity of the Brain | | New technology is raising profound questions about the dignity of the human person. Researchers are now using artificially sustained, disembodied human brains to test experimental drugs, prompting serious ethical concerns. In the latest Lessons in Catholic Bioethics, Dr. Joseph Meaney examines this research through a Catholic lens and asks where the pursuit of scientific advancement must draw the line. | | READ MORE | |

| MEDICAL INSIGHTS | | | Each month, we share timely health topics along with simple insights and habits that can make a meaningful difference for your family’s health and well-being. This month, we’re focusing on healthy back-to-school sleep routines, preparing for fall allergy season, and supporting mothers during National Breastfeeding Month. |
|
| | | | | Getting Kids’ Sleep Schedules Back on Track for School Late nights and relaxed routines can make the transition back to school challenging. Experts recommend gradually adjusting bedtimes and wake-up times rather than waiting until the night before school starts. A consistent wind-down routine, less screen time before bed, and getting enough sleep can help children feel rested and ready to learn while supporting their mood and overall health. Learn more. |

| | | | | Fall Allergies Are on the Way – Prepare for Pollen Season Fall allergy season is already ramping up, and some parts of the country could see elevated grass and weed pollen this year. Weed pollen is expected to be a widespread concern and could linger into October. Simple steps like checking pollen levels, keeping windows closed on high-pollen days, changing clothes after spending time outdoors, and showering before bed can help reduce exposure. Learn more. |

|
| | | | | National Breastfeeding Month – Supporting the Breastfeeding Journey August is National Breastfeeding Month, a time to celebrate the commitment mothers make to nourishing their babies. Research found that the average mother spends the equivalent of more than 91 full days feeding her baby during the first year. Staying hydrated, creating a comfortable feeding space, and seeking support when needed can help make the breastfeeding journey more manageable and rewarding. Learn more. | |
