| | | Dear Friend, September marks an exciting milestone for Solidarity with the launch of Solidarity LEGACY, our new healthcare sharing program for individuals age 65+ enrolled in Medicare Parts A & B. LEGACY offers unlimited sharing and no pre-existing condition limitations, helping with eligible Medicare Part B out-of-pocket coinsurance costs after Medicare processes your care. You can also listen to my recent interview on The BS Show, where I discuss how LEGACY works and how it can help provide greater peace of mind when it comes to out-of-pocket healthcare costs. The launch comes at a time when healthcare affordability remains a major concern for families. As traditional insurance costs continue to rise, health sharing offers a different approach, one centered on community, transparency, and working together to manage healthcare expenses. In August alone, our Reference-Based Pricing model and provider negotiations reduced eligible submitted medical costs by 68%, helping make Member contributions go further. This month, we’re also taking a closer look at the vaccine debate and informed healthcare decisions, sharing a Catholic perspective on prenatal testing, and offering practical health tips and helpful reminders for your Solidarity Membership. Thank you for being part of the Solidarity community and for continuing to make this ministry possible. In Christ, |

| MEDICAL INSIGHTS | | | Each month, we share timely health topics along with simple insights and habits that can make a meaningful difference for your family’s health and well-being. This month, we’re focusing on making seasonal comfort foods healthier, lesser-known infant safety tips for Baby Safety Month, and a few surprising facts about fruits and vegetables for National Fruits and Veggies Month. |
|
| | | | | Making Comfort Foods Healthier This Autumn Comfort foods can be satisfying on cooler days, but many traditional favorites can also be high in calories, saturated fat, sodium, and added sugars. Simple swaps, such as incorporating lean proteins, vegetables, beans, and other nutrient-dense ingredients, can add fiber, vitamins, minerals, and protein while keeping the flavors you enjoy. We’ve gathered five healthier recipes featuring seasonal favorites like pumpkin, squash, apples, and kale. Learn more. |

|
| | | | | Infant Safety Tips for Baby Safety Month September is Baby Safety Month, a good reminder that some potential hazards aren’t always obvious. Infant bath water should be kept between 96 and 100 degrees, crib mobiles should be removed once a baby can sit independently, and the crib mattress should be lowered once they can pull themselves to a standing position. |
| | | | | National Fruits and Veggies Month Fruits and vegetables do more than provide vitamins and minerals. Their fiber can help you feel full, slow digestion, and support a healthy gut microbiome. And fresh isn’t your only option: frozen and canned produce can be just as nutritious when you choose varieties without added salt, sugar, or syrup. Whole fruit is also generally a better choice than juice because it retains the fiber that helps keep you full. Learn more. | |
